Outdoor Adventure Center

Tributary plans the opening of an Outdoor Adventure Center on the banks of Sweetwater Creek that will enable residents to better enjoy the community's outdoor offerings. Plans for the lodge-like center include:
  • Kayak and mountain bike rental
  • Expert instruction in fishing, spin casting, and the science of green camping
  • A shop offering bait, refreshments, and other outdoor needs
  • Connectivity to the trail system
  • Campsites
Trails

What are you up for? Maybe some serious hill climbing on the mountain bike? A quick run before breakfast? Or perhaps herding the kids to your favorite fishing spot? Whatever your ambitions, we've got the trail and the terrain for you - miles and miles of them. So much, in fact, we had to create our own trail rating system, like those you see on ski trails.

There are gentle paved trails that circulate within the neighborhoods. There are dirt trails that switchback up and down major topography and along the water. And there are connections to the 9 mile trail system of Sweetwater State Park. We also have a terrific mountain bike trail. Whatever your skill and ambition levels, we have a trail for you!
Camping

It's not just the kids who benefit from these excursions. It's their parents, too. They get to enjoy not only the companionship of their kids, but that of the other parents as well. Tributary has the thoughtful details that build a community.
Fishing

Grab your waders and your flies, because if you like fly fishing or even just want to try it, this is a great place to do it. No waders? Fish from the shore.

Catch some trout or catish in the 215-acre George Sparks Reservoir or in Sweetwater Creek where most common freshwater species are found. Drop your line in - you'll soon discover why this area is so popular for fishing.
